DCM Inc. was incorporated in spring of 2008.  This business was created as a Western Canadian business office to represent the interests of several well established companies headquartered in Montreal Quebec.

Dawcolectric, the group’s flagship, is a 50 year old electrical contracting company, which has enjoyed tremendous success throughout all of Eastern Canada and the United States.  In the last 20 years, the owners of Dawcolectric have established, acquired or partnered with several new companies.

These companies include Solimec, a heavy industrial mechanical construction company, DL Instrumentation, a specialized instrumentation and controls company, Systemex Automation, and engineering company, and Systemex Communications among several others.  

This group of companies, although autonomous, have operated in a close partnership, building off of each others strengths.  In Eastern Canada, the companies within this group are widely refered to as “Group Dawco”.

The name DCM Inc. was chosen to represent Dawco Construction Management, for the western part of Canada, as it was a logical decision to unite the companies under a single management organization.  For more information of the history of our founding and member companies, please refer to the “Our Group” section.
