MIFFC – North Terminal Expansion

For this project, DCM was required to move two fuel lines while pursuing its activities for the other expansion works already assigned. These works, which lasted over a 6-month period, included the addition of 25 fuelling pits and 12 landing areas. After completion of the tarmac, the DCM team installed new hydrant valves for refueling the aircraft tanks.

Another project supervised by DCM on this site was the installation of five new pumps and filters in the Dorval tank farm. The piping fabrication was performed by Jynt Fabrication Inc.

More specifically, these activities required DCM to:

  • Offload, handle and secure storage of all piping, valve materials and equipement
  • Excavate existing material, supply, place and compact backfill materials
  • Install all owner-supplied pipe, valves and fittings
