Mosaic Potash – Potash Mine Processing Plant and Tailings Piping
The Colonsay project was part of the expansion of Mosaic’s potash facilities in Saskatchewan, Canada. The expansion project was scheduled in two phases that resulted in the potential increase in total production to 3M tons per year.
DCM work was completed in the new facility, in the existing process plant, in the tailings area, and the main substation – in both greenfield and brownfield conditions. Specialty items included the installation of basalt piping, stainless steel piping and 18’’ HDPE piping from the process mill to the tailings area. DCM installed pumps, electrical & instrumentation equipment, and supplied and installed shelters and platforms.
